Traditional kimono portrait series captured in Taipei in April 2026. Shot on a NIKON Z 8 paired with a Viltrox AF 50mm f/2.0 Z prime lens, shooting wide open at f/2 with a shutter speed of 1/200s to ensure handheld stability. Afternoon window light entered at a side angle, delineating the dimensional textures of the kimono embroidery and weave patterns. The styling and composition were intentionally kept minimal, avoiding unnecessary props to let fabric textures and color nuances take center stage. Framing balanced environmental context to create a subtle visual dialogue between traditional garments and modern space.
