CLI and open data
Read the work and site documents from your terminal. No login, no API key.
The site publishes a text index, per-work Markdown pages and a sitemap for developers and AI tools. Examples below use curl; add -f to get a non-zero exit code when a request fails.
Work and text index
work index full text kimono portrait
The work index lists the site introduction and every work; the full text contains each work's content. Every work also has its own Markdown page — the kimono portrait, for example.

OpenAPI 3.0.3 document sitemap index
The OpenAPI 3.0.3 document currently describes only the /api/health endpoint. Works, services and pricing are readable through the text index above or the site pages. The sitemap index points to the child sitemaps.

The MCP Server Card is a preview descriptor. There is no MCP service to initialize or call today — read the site content through the static resources above.
How to use it
- Use your existing curl, wget or HTTP client; no package to install.
- Text and Markdown responses are meant to be read as text; pipe OpenAPI JSON through jq if needed.
- When citing a work, keep the link to its page; shooting dates, licensing and final quotes are confirmed through the .contact process
