Shot with an 85mm macro lens on a dedicated tabletop still-life rig, employing a single Profoto D2 equipped with a grid and vellum paper diffuser at a 45-degree angle from the rear-left to illuminate the hero subject. A white bounce card in front balanced specular sheen across food surfaces. The composition intentionally retains negative tabletop space, naturally drawing the viewer’s attention to textural cross-sections and sauce viscosities.
