Mei Liang Jia is a restaurant brand in Kaohsiung. This project brings its food, story and visiting information together, connecting an introduction to the brand with practical menu and travel information.

## The problem to address

A restaurant site needs to explain both what the place is like and what to eat or how to get there. The design goal was to give food photography and storytelling room while keeping menus, directions and dining questions easy to reach. This is the project objective, not a finding from a before-and-after user study.

## My implementation scope

I implemented the pages and content structure: the brand homepage, menu, story and visit-information navigation, plus structured data for search tools. The stack uses TanStack Start, React and Tailwind CSS. Food development, restaurant service and operating results are outside this website delivery.

## Decisions and trade-offs

The menu has its own page, and visit information has a direct link to its homepage section, so visitors with a specific need can reach them without reading the homepage story. The homepage retains food imagery and storytelling for visitors getting to know the brand.

Structured data and text endpoints provide another way to read the content. Their implementation does not establish an improvement in search rankings, AI citations or restaurant visits.

## Results and evidence limits

The website and linked deliverables were checked on 2026-10-13. This confirms the availability of content pages, navigation and text content. This case does not include comparable speed measurements, search traffic, AI citations or booking-conversion data, so no improvement in those metrics is claimed. Public content may change.
